Valentin played 74 minutes of the Schweizer Cup final. FC Basel won it 4-2 in penalties (1-1 after extra-time).
Valentin played the whole game against GC (12.05). He scored the 1-1 goal and the match ended 6-3 for FCB (goals: Zoua x2, Alex Frei, Huggel, OG).
Valentin played 82 minutes of the match against FC Zürich on 06.05. which was won by FCB 5-1. Valentin scored the 3-1 goal (assisted by Xhaka) and he assisted Streller and Shaqiri once each (both scored twice each).
Valentin played 90 minutes against FC Thun on 02.05 (before being replaced by Granit Xhaka). The game ended 2-1 for FCB with Andrist and Alex Frei goals.
Valentin played 15 minutes on FC Basel’s 3-1 victory against FC Lausanne with Streller, Alex Frei and Zoua goals on 29.04. (He replaced Fabian Frei on the 75th minute). That match gave FC Basel the 15th league title.
Valentin played 71 minutes (substituted by Zoua) on FC Basel’s 3-0 victory against FC Sion on 22.04 (Alex Frei and Markus Steinhöfer goals)
